The SAFE Project is a non-profit organization that provides emergency services to women, men, and children throughout the community who are or who have been victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The SAFE Project provides temporary and emergency shelter for clients who have been victims of sexual assault or domestic violence, as well as their children. The SAFE Project also has a 24-hour Crisis Hotline where an advocate can be reached 7 days a week to respond to an emergency crisis situation. NAMI advocates for access to services, treatment, supports and research and is steadfast in its commitment to raising awareness and building a community of hope for all of those in need. NAMI offers support and education programs for families and individuals living with mental health conditions. 24/7 Help for Mental Health Crisis is always available. Call us anytime at 541-266-
6800. These services are available free to all Coos County residents and visitors. In
addition to our Crisis Hotline we offer Walk-in Crisis services at our Coos Bay offices at
281 LaClair Street during normal business hours. We also operate a mobile response
team that will respond wherever they are needed within the County to help provide
immediate crisis and stabilization services to those undergoing a mental or behavioral
emergency. All crisis services can be accessed through our crisis phone line
